3. What I may collect

Depending on how you interact with me, I may collect your name, email address, phone number (where provided), booking and appointment details, payment and transaction information, anything you choose to share when contacting me or during sessions, information about your wellbeing or health where relevant to the service, session-related correspondence, and technical information needed to run online sessions. You do not have to provide information that is not necessary for the service.

4. Health and sensitive information

You may choose to share information about your physical or mental health, personal experiences or other sensitive matters. Health information is “special-category” data under the GDPR and receives extra protection. I only collect and process it where there is an appropriate lawful basis and special-category condition under data-protection law.

5. Why I use your information

To arrange and manage appointments; communicate with you; provide the service; take payments; keep appropriate professional and administrative records; respond to enquiries; meet safeguarding or legal obligations where they apply; and protect the security of my systems.

I use third-party providers to run parts of the practice — for example online booking, payment, email, video-conferencing, website hosting and accounting. Where a provider processes personal information on my behalf, I take appropriate steps to ensure it is handled in line with data-protection requirements.

Information from sessions is treated as confidential, subject to the limits described in the Client Agreement. Where professional consultation or supervision is used, information is handled with appropriate confidentiality and, where possible, identifying details are removed or minimised.

8. Safeguarding and legal disclosure

There may be circumstances where information must be disclosed because the law requires it, or because of a serious safety or safeguarding concern. Where it is appropriate and legally possible, I will discuss the situation with you before disclosing.

9. How long I keep information

I keep personal information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purpose it was collected, taking account of legal, accounting, insurance and professional requirements. Retention periods vary by type of information.

10. Security

I take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect personal information against unauthorised access, loss, alteration or disclosure. No online service can guarantee absolute security.

11. Your rights

Depending on the circumstances, you may have the right to access your information; to have inaccurate information corrected; to request erasure or restriction; to object to certain processing; to data portability where applicable; and to withdraw consent where processing is based on consent. Marketing is separate from your sessions. If you subscribe to updates, you can unsubscribe at any time, and declining marketing will not affect your ability to book or receive sessions.
